Vlisco Unveils Parade of Charm Collection

Netherlands, October 2012 – Vlisco debuts its highly anticipated Parade of Charm collection this month. The range of coordinating fashion fabrics comes in sophisticated shades of black and grey, with geometric designs inspired by the sleek silhouettes of modern metropolitan architecture. The collection includes Wax, Java and Luxury Edition fabrics and a matching line of bags and accessories – available at Vlisco boutiques and the Vlisco website.

•Dynamically Designed Delight
The geometric lines and sculptural shapes that set the tone in this collection were influenced by the playful angles and curves of today's most beautiful buildings. Thanks to an ingenious interplay of light, shape and colours, the designs have an almost three-dimensional effect. Of course, Vlisco has long been known for its playful patterns, and as always, has given the fabrics a feminine Vlisco twist that is sure to make every woman feel utterly chic and irresistibly elegant.

•Moody Hues
Monochromatic blacks and greys have been used tone-on-tone or to create a stunning contrast. These inky hues add depth to the designs, while muted colours such as olive green, lavender and wine red add a pop of colour without dominating the subtle palette.

•Luxury Editions & Accessories
This season, Vlisco's glamorously glossy Luxury Editions feature skyscraper silver sequin accents and shimmering Lurex embroidery. The accessories line comes in coordinating collection colours with faded olive and lavender blue touches, and features handbag shapes that mimic the collection's geometric theme.

•Global Campaign
For the collection's campaign, fashion photographer Carmen Kemmink used sculptural styling and sensual shapes against an abstract architectural background to underline the geometric theme. A perfect blend of Vlisco's latest looks and timeless architectural lines, the campaign focuses the attention on the feminine form for a result that looks both refined and mysterious.
